The new 19th Senate District stretches from the Coachella Valley to the San Bernardino Mountains and from the San Jacinto Valley up through the High Desert. The district includes the cities and communities of Apple Valley, Baker, Banning, Barstow, Beaumont, Bermuda Dunes, Big Bear City, Big Bear Lake, Cabazon, Calimesa, Cathedral City, Cherry Valley, Colton, Crestline, Desert Edge, Desert Hot Springs, East Hemet, Fort Irwin, Garnet, Grand Terrace, Hemet, Highland, Homestead Valley, Indian Wells, Joshua Tree, La Quinta, Lake Arrowhead, Lenwood, Loma Linda, Lucerne Valley, Mentone, Morongo Valley, Oak Glen, Palm Desert, Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Redlands, Running Springs, Searles Valley, Silver Lakes, Sky Valley, Thousand Palms, Twentynine Palms, Valle Vista, Whitewater, Yermo, Yucaipa and Yucca Valley.
